Approach

Asset Sustainability

Assets are physical capital that are of value to an organization, such as ships, wind turbine, a fleet, as well as the complete infrastructure of a province. Asset Sustainability focuses on the sustainable design of all the processes that are important throughout the life-cycle of assets. The trick here is finding the balance between performance and cost on the one hand, and minimizing the impact on the environment on the other.

Objective

In each phase of an asset, there are many opportunities for more sustainable processes and simultaneously optimize performance and cost. The ASC supports organizations in finding these opportunities and encourages the sharing of knowledge and experiences. The aim is to improve the eco-efficiency, cost; either achieve less environmental impact and cost savings for the organization.
